Dear Friend, we are all waiting...
Shalom shalom Fayrouz.
I'm looking forward to your posts!
Years ago there was a perfume commercial that went, "Promise her anything...but give her Arpege." Well, I'm waiting for my Arpege, but I'll wait as long as you need to write again.
Looking forward to reading you... it's a hard part of the world for me to understand.
Salaam Fayrouz!
Welcome to the blogosphere! I'm really looking forward to following your blog (and after reading all the comments, it would seem that I'm not the only one!).
Hello from a neighbor over the hill in Efrat. Any friend of Lisa's is a friend of mine. In time I'm sure we'll create/find some other things besides our fondness for Lisa on which to base a relationship, but for now... please accept a warm welcome to the blogosphere.
I am listening.
Dear Fayrouz:
I'll be checking in from here in New Jersey. Please be careful.
oh my, dear fairouz,
two posts and already you're such a famous blogger!
Fayrouz, careful of Treppenwitz, (and actually many of the other posters here). Rather than debate critically points I had brought up in his post on his blog, this settler decided to do it in my email box. As he grew more and more offensive and defensive, he actually wished that I would come to Palestine to get killed just like that other woman who "laid down in front of a bulldozer". It would be a death that made sense to him.
Lovely bloke. You can read almost all of the exchange on Umkahlil's blog. These people are violent, racist and problematic. Even Lisa does not admit diverse opinions, and when she is not banning, she is inciting her commenters to verbally abuse. If you don't believe me, read back the posts on her blog that she hasn't cancelled off. You can find traces of Aliyah and Settler violence all over their blogs, so be careful, lest they use you too, which is what I believe is happening to you.
good luck.
